To ensure an exceptional experience, we offer the following for your consideration.
MEALS
You are responsible for your meals. Don't worry, we are just outside of downtown where there are many restaurants, delis and two grocery stores. There is a fully set-up kitchen in the vacation property and we will make daily stops for trail lunches and snacks. Sometimes, we find ourselves together for dinner at a local restaurant. Participants and personnel often pool resources for meals whether on the trail or at the vacation property.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation to Moab and to daily locations is not included. We will be traveling on State, BLM and mining roads. Moderate / easy trails that require high-clearance 4-wheel drive vehicles. Participants are responsible for travel to daily locations and are encouraged to pool resources. We have negotiated local business pricing with Jeep rental companies in Moab and can recommend some good options.
WEATHER, WATER AND OTHER BEVERAGES.
Moab is a high desert climate. Desert weather can be unpredictable and sometimes severe. Temperature extremes, lightning, rain and their associated hazards are not uncommon. Flash floods may make roads un-passable. April and October daytime temps range from 60–70 f and 30–40 f at night. Humidity can be as low as 10 or 15%. It is strongly recommended that all adults consume 1 gallon (4 liters) of water per day. Some dehydration symptoms are cramps, lethargy, sore joints and irritability. Severe cases may require medical attention. Accordingly, you may want to go easy on the booze and caffiene, as both are diuretics.
Alcohol or drug use during guided hours puts all parties at risk and will not be tolerated.
GRATUITY is appreciated, but not required; however you are welcome to acknowledge anyone. Everyone works hard to ensure you have a worthwhile and safe adventure, with breathtaking images to show for it. Whether the gesture is verbal or monetary, acknowledgement is very much appreciated.
Everybody has to sign waivers.
Permit does not create an exclusive right of use of an area and does not allow Guide or Visitors to interfere with other visitors. As such, photography or other activities may have to be temporarily suspended so as not to interfere with other visitors use and enjoyment of public lands.
The Guide will have the final say to cease any activity or leave a location. Best efforts will be made to identify alternative locations and make up times but these are not guaranteed.
If at any time, the Guide deems a participant incapable of continuing further or conducting him or herself in an appropriate manner, the Guide may dismiss the participant for the remainder of the day or the event. No credit or refund will be given.
Outfitter will be documenting clients and personnel for promotional and personal purposes.
Participants will be briefed regarding permit stipulations, general policy and etiquette expected of visitors on public lands.
All personnel are committed to these dates. In the event personnel are unable to be on location the Outfitter may substitute personnel with similar skill sets.
A minimum number of non-refundable deposits are required to secure lodging, travel and personnel. In the event minimums are not booked, Outfitter will honor guest decision to either refund guest deposit 100% or hold and apply to future date.
All are committed to get you great images and are glad to assist with location, directing and composition; we do not offer instruction or assist with equipment specifics.
Drop us a line for secure payment options, questions or more information.
We look forward to adventure with you.
